Thank you for being honest without being mean. That’s really all we’re asking for, guys! :) As for the comment of not caring about hate mail, we do care about it. The reason I decided to stop posting/responding to hate mail was because I a) didn’t want it clogging up the site and b) was tired of trying to combat it. That doesn’t mean I don’t care. Also, the FAQ wasn’t compiled by us, it was done by the first admins.

This should in no way surprise you, but for some reason I guess it does. It’s not just suggestions or comments. These are rude, spiteful, anonymous asks that are filled with demands and harsh criticisms. I am the first to admit that we should update more often. However, I do not believe that it is in any way appropriate for someone (let alone anonymously) to tell us that “you need to either update NOW because we want MORE SECRETS NOW” and “we HATE that font- STOP using it NOW and find something DIFFERENT.” Honestly, it’s all in the wording. There are ways to express your discontent other than the aforementioned style. Who wants to respond civilly to that? How is it fair that we are the first to get condemned and then when we assert ourselves (in the same style or better that was given to us) we are the ones struck down? Have you not read what those asks were? Please, look at things objectively before drawing conclusions. And I don’t mean “reading several pages”. Oh, and by your qualifications, I’m just as capable of deciding whether someone’s a Southern Belle or not. No one’s perfect- remember that. 

In other news, thank you to all the wonderful Southern Belles who have been supportive, given healthy and constructive criticism, and submitted secrets! You guys are awesome! :)
